Torn and scraped white bumper — the kind of plastic damage we rebuild by welding

Cracked bumpers, snapped mounting tabs, split trims and broken brackets don't need a new part — they need plastic welding. We fuse the plastic back together with heat, reinforce from behind, sand flush, prime and repaint the repair area. Works on almost any plastic grade (PP, PE, ABS), saves hundreds compared to new parts, and holds as well as the factory plastic.

What's included

  • Heat-welded and reinforced from behind
  • Colour-matched paint over the repaired area
  • Cheaper than a new bumper or trim

Common questions

Is a plastic-welded repair as strong as a new part?
Done properly — yes. We fuse through the full depth of the plastic and reinforce the back with a mesh or backing strip. The repair often ends up stronger than the original plastic because of the reinforcement. We wouldn't offer lifetime workmanship warranty on it otherwise.
Can you fix cracks that look like they've torn all the way through?
Usually, yes. As long as we have both sides of the crack, we can line it up, weld it, and reinforce. Missing chunks of plastic can be rebuilt with compatible filler plastic. Send a photo and we'll tell you if welding is viable or if replacement is the better call.
